The Opportunity

At Dentalcorp, we partner with leading dental practices across Canada, providing the expertise, resources, and operational support that enable clinicians and their teams to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. As Canada’s largest and fastest-growing network of dental practices, we are helping shape the future of dentistry through strong partnerships, operational excellence, and a commitment to brilliant experiences.

We are seeking a Senior Director of Operations to lead a significant portfolio of practices across Ontario. Reporting to the Vice President, Operations East, you will lead a team of Regional Managers and play a critical role in translating strategy into execution across a diverse, high-impact region.

This is an opportunity for a proven multi-site leader to shape performance, build capability, and strengthen partnerships across a complex and growing network. You will work closely with clinicians, Practice Managers, and Regional Managers to elevate the patient experience, strengthen business results, and create the conditions for practices and teams to thrive.

Who You Are

You are a seasoned multi-site leader with the judgment, presence, and operational depth to lead at scale. You bring a strong track record of improving performance, developing leaders, and navigating complexity with clarity and confidence. Strategic and hands-on in equal measure, you know how to translate priorities into action, build credibility quickly, and create alignment across teams while keeping the patient and practice experience at the centre of your approach.

  • You thrive in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
  • You lead confidently through change and know how to bring others with you
  • You combine strong business acumen with a highly collaborative leadership style
  • You are energized by building strong teams, strong partnerships, and lasting results

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead operational performance across a portfolio of practices, with accountability for regional results, patient experience, and overall business health
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Regional Managers to strengthen leadership capability and drive consistent execution across the region
  • Translate enterprise priorities into clear regional strategies and practical action plans that support growth, consistency, and operational excellence
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, optimize operations, and enhance the patient and team experience across your practice network
  • Build trusted partnerships with clinicians, Practice Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to support strong decision-making and effective execution
  • Use data, financial insight, and operational judgment to identify risks, surface opportunities, and guide priorities across the portfolio
  • Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while helping practices and teams thrive through growth and change

What You’ll Bring

  • Post-secondary education in business, healthcare administration, operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years of experience leading multi-site operations within dental, healthcare, retail, or another service-driven environment
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing P&L, forecasting, budgeting, and performance metrics
  • A track record of driving measurable, sustainable growth through operational discipline and KPI management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across functions and levels
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and executing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, with the flexibility to travel within Ontario, including occasional overnight stays
