Full job description

Associate Dentist — Busy, High-Production Practice | Barrhaven (Ottawa), ON

Highbury Park Dental is an established, busy family practice in the heart of Barrhaven, one of Ottawa's fastest-growing communities. We serve a large, loyal patient base built over years of consistent care, supported by an experienced team of dentists, hygienists, assistants and full-time admin staff.

We are looking for an associate dentist to take over a large, established patient base from a departing colleague whose family circumstances have changed. This is not a build-your-own-book position: the chair comes with a full, active recall schedule from day one. Historical production for this schedule has ranged from $100,000 to $130,000 per month — immediate, proven production, no cold start.

Compensation: 40% of production (approx. $40,000–$52,000/month based on historical figures)

Schedule (approx. 37 hours/week):

Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Our evening and Saturday hours are among the most requested appointment times in the area, which keeps this schedule consistently full. You will be supported by dedicated assistants and an admin team that manages booking, recall and billing, so you can focus entirely on dentistry.

What we offer:

- An active recall patient load transferred directly to you

- Full clinical autonomy in treatment planning

- Digital charting and modern, well-equipped operatories

- A collegial multi-dentist environment with mentorship available

- Start date: mid-October 2026, with a paid transition period alongside the departing dentist

Requirements:

- DDS/DMD, licensed and in good standing with the RCDSO

- Comfortable with all aspects of general family dentistry, including some pediatric care

- Reliable availability for evenings and Saturdays — these are our highest-demand slots

All applications are treated confidentially.

Pay: $420,000.00-$550,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • On-site parking

Work Location: In person
