Full job description

We are looking for a dental receptionist to join our team at our clinic in Cochrane, Alberta. We are looking for the right individual that values team harmony and providing care to patients from an administrative aspect. Experience as a Dental receptionist is required. Please do not apply if you do not have dental specific experience.

Duties

  • Answer telephones for new and existing patients.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care.
  • Answer basic dental questions for patients.
  • Process paper and electronic insurance coverage for patients.
  • Maintain and organize details about patient appointments.
  • Coordinate with the dental team emergency and routine care concerns.

What We Need

  • Clear communication in a team supported environment.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures in developing and explaining treatment plans to patients.
  • ClearDent experience preferred.
  • Dental clinic experience is required.
