Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our company and our customers, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods across various locations. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellence will help us maintain high standards of service, foster customer satisfaction, and support our operational goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be on the move, operate diverse equipment, and contribute directly to our success.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver packages and parcels safely and on time to customers and designated delivery locations.
  • Follow assigned routes, delivery instructions, and company procedures to ensure efficient and successful deliveries.
  • Handle packages carefully and verify addresses and delivery details to minimize missed and returned packages.
  • Follow all driver safety instructions, traffic laws, and company safety policies while operating the delivery vehicle.
  • Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers and ensure packages are delivered to the correct location.
  • Complete delivery confirmations, signatures, photos, and other required documentation accurately.
  • Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after each route and report any safety or maintenance issues promptly.
  • Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.
  • Communicate promptly with the appropriate team when there are problems with addresses, access, or deliveries.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safe driving, timely deliveries, accurate package handling, and reducing unnecessary returns.

Skills

  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety, traffic laws, and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to follow assigned routes, delivery instructions, and company procedures accurately.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to complete deliveries on time.
  • Careful package handling skills to prevent damage, loss, or incorrect deliveries.
  • Excellent attention to detail when checking addresses, delivery information, and package details.
  • Ability to minimize missed and returned packages by following delivery instructions and verifying customer information.
  • Good communication and customer service skills when interacting with customers and team members.
  • Ability to use GPS/navigation systems and delivery apps effectively.
  • Dependable, punctual, responsible, and committed to driver and public safety.
