Full job description

THE ROLE

· Receives goods into inventory, including unpacking and verifying contents against appropriate documents; ensures received goods are accurately input into the computer tracking system.

· Prepares packages to be sent out in accordance with the processes and procedures; picks and packs goods for shipment as per customer orders.

· Ensures goods are shipped in accordance with organizational best practices and customer requirements

· Maintains bills of lading, book and arrange carriers for delivery of goods

· Stock shelves with received shipments using appropriate sorting/organization system and equipment

· Print invoices as required

· Daily Customers to be picked and placed in appropriate delivery and pick up shelves

· Completes a daily forklift log

· Ensures the warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized fashion at all times

· Performs additional duties including pickup and delivery tasks outside regular warehouse duties as required

· Operate forklift and physical work in a safe manner

· Core returns and annual returns to be picked and shipped in accordance to company procedures.

· Be able to physically lift 75-100lbs on a regular basis

THE CANDIDATE

· Education: High School. Valid driver’s license required. Forklift license an asset.

· Work Experience: 1-2 years; previous experience in similar role

· Knowledge: Competent in Microsoft Office
