Summary

We are looking for a professional driver that is self sufficient and operates our equipment in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to transport refrigerated freight across designated routes.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Moving freight and shunt trailers when necessary, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold company safety policies and operational excellence.
  • Assist in troubleshooting minor vehicle or equipment issues when required.
  • Follow all federal and provincial transportation regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Qualifications
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) for Ontario.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation.
  • Strong commitment to safety and equipment maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
  • Basic automotive repair knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Clean CVOR and Driver-Abstract
