Full job description

Colemans BRANDSOURCE Home Furnishings, Deer Lake, requires immediately, a Floor Worker/ Delivery Helper. This is a part time position in one of the area’s most beautiful furniture stores.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, be physically capable of heavy lifting, and possess a positive attitude towards teamwork. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that deliveries are executed smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

  • Loading and unloading of furniture freight
  • Transferring and placing stock on the showroom floor
  • Assisting with delivery of furniture into customers’ homes
  • Installation of merchandise in a professional, ethical, and courteous manner
  • Handle merchandise and vehicle with great care and respect
  • Responsible for the store’s and dock area floor maintenance program
  • Other duties as required by management

Required Qualifications

  • Commitment to Colemans Culture, Vision, and Values

  • Highly motivated, energetic, and well organized
  • Must have the ability to lift items over 50 lbs. safely
  • Previous experience is not essential, but preferred
  • A valid driver’s license and a good driving record. A clean driver’s abstract will be required.

Rate of Pay

Starting at $17.51 per hour

Hours of Work

32-40 hours per week
