Rush Truck Centres of Canada is a part of Rush Enterprises, the largest commercial vehicle dealership group in North America. We represent a wide range of industry-leading truck, bus and trailer brands backed by parts, sales, service, collision repair, lease, and rental support. With 16 locations in Ontario and almost 600 employees and growing, we are looking for top talent to join our team.


Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Parts Driver is responsible for delivering parts to customers and picking up parts from suppliers for the bus centres. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (with possible shifts that are longer or shorter) at our Rush Truck Bus Centres of Canada dealership located at 1125 Pattullo Avenue, Woodstock, ON N4S 7W3.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
  • Pick up and deliver parts to customers, wholesale accounts, and suppliers.
  • Check before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
  • Verify that the invoice matches the purchase order for each pick-up.
  • Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery.
  • Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Request the recipient’s signature on each delivery entry.
  • Load truck every morning making sure delivery log and cases match for each stop.
  • Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
  • Assist in warehouse clean up when required

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Three months’ experience in customer and delivery services.
  • Must possess a current and valid G driver's license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
  • Good communication, Time management and customer service skills
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
