Job Overview

Dial A Bottle Vancouver is seeking a reliable and personable Liquor Store Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering a wide selection of alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and a valid commercial driver’s license. This position offers an opportunity to engage with the community while ensuring a seamless delivery experience for our valued clients.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver liquor orders to customers across designated routes.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient delivery of products, verifying orders before departure and upon receipt.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging courteously with clients, answering questions, and upselling additional products when appropriate.
  • Manage cash transactions, pricing adjustments, and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
  • Organize daily delivery schedules to optimize routes and ensure timely arrivals.
  • Assist with merchandising in the store when not on deliveries, including stocking shelves and maintaining product displays.
  • Handle heavy lifting of bottles and cases, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or injury.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and store areas.
  • Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during deliveries.

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for delivery vehicles.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining professionalism.
  • Good sales skills with an understanding of pricing strategies.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
