Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Salesperson/Delivery Driver to join our team. This job is a combination of selling product as well delivering it to an established customer base. Prior knowledge of flowers and tropical plants would be a strong asset. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational ability, and a strong commitment to customer service. The Delivery Driver will play a vital role in maintaining our company's reputation by providing timely and professional service.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations within designated routes
  • Contacting customers to sell product that is available
  • Load and unload merchandise
  • Ensure accurate delivery by verifying orders, pricing, and customer details
  • Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
  • Maintain organized delivery schedules and routes for efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with customers to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and address concerns
  • Collect payments when necessary and process transactions accurately
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly

Experience

  • Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred
  • Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of sales techniques
  • Ability to perform merchandising tasks and manage pricing information accurately
  • Familiarity with basic math for handling transactions
  • Basic computer knowledge
