Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and equipment, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a professional with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and vehicle maintenance. Candidates with experience in commercial driving ,Oil and gas experience and automotive repair are highly preferred. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety and customer satisfaction are top priorities.

Duties

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment to designated locations.
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal vehicle performance.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and compliance with all transportation regulations.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely pickup and delivery schedules.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
  • Assist with the operation of heavy machinery when required, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving, Oil and gas work.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair or basic mechanical skills is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and compliance purposes.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and handle physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
  • Those with H2S Alive, TDG, WHIMIS, First Aid, And common safety orientation will have strong consideration.
  • Must be located in or Near the Spruce Grove area. Those who do not live within 10 minutes of Spruce Grove will not be considered
  • This is an on call 24/7 job must be willing to go to work at all hours of the day/night
