We utilize small vans, trucks, and semi-tractors to ensure timely deliveries, emphasizing cross-dock and final-mile solutions that meet the needs of our diverse clientele.

Summary

Located in Acheson, Alberta. We are seeking a dedicated Dispatcher or Courier & Trucking professional to join our team. This role will require you to work Monday – Friday, shift hours are 0630HRS-1430HRS and 1030HRS-1830HRS.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule daily delivery routes using transportation management systems.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and warehouse staff to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Monitor freight movements and update tracking systems accurately.
  • Manage shipping and receiving documentation with attention to detail.
  • Utilize analysis skills to optimize routes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain proficiency with relevant software such as AS400, SyteLine, and other logistics platforms.
  • Provide excellent phone etiquette and customer service support.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Class 1 or 3 preferred, or experience in previous roles
  • Experience in "over-the-road deliveries” P&D Service
  • Forklift certificate or past experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for customer service pickups
  • High level of customer relations experience

Proven experience with transportation management systems or logistics coordination.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and freight operations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multi-line phone systems.
  • Proficiency in data entry, typing, and shipping & receiving procedures.
  • Knowledge of software such as Ontime360, and Microsoft Office,
  • Ability to analyze data for route optimization and problem-solving.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
