The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is looking for a dependable and community-minded individual to join our operations crew. Role Overview

As part of our operations team, you’ll play an active role in both transportation and warehouse activities. The position involves assisting with the collection and handling of donated electronics from client locations across the region. No two days are the same — expect a mix of driving, teamwork, and hands-on tasks that keep each day interesting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate or assist with 3-ton and 5-ton truck routes for equipment pickups from business and organization partners.
  • Help load, unload, and secure IT and electronic equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Support warehouse operations by sorting, labeling, and organizing incoming donations.
  • Maintain clear communication with teammates and clients to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow safety guidelines and contribute to keeping the workspace organized and hazard-free.

What We’re Looking For

  • Reliable, motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
  • Class 5 driver’s license (required).
  • Able to lift and move computer and electronic equipment safely.
  • Experience in delivery driving, moving, or warehouse work is an asset (forklift certification a plus).
  • Good communication skills and a professional demeanor when representing ERA.

Position Details

  • Full-time, permanent position (42.5 hours per week).
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
  • Occasional overtime may be required.
  • Health and benefits package available after 6 months of employment.

Compensation

  • Drivers: starting at $25/hour.
  • Helpers: starting at $22/hour.
