Qualifications and Skills

• DZ license
• Clean driver abstract/CVOR preferred
• Boom Truck/Hiab Crane experience is considered an asset
• Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently with different people and teams
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
• Ability to work under minimal supervision in a high pressured, fast-paced environment
• Strong Problem-Solving Skills
• Team player, good attitude, and strong professionalism
• Must be physically fit and able to climb up and down from the flatbed surface with ease and be able to lift a minimum of 50Ibs
• Available for standard working hours typically 5:30 AM -3:30 PM Monday-to-Friday but flexible to work outside of these hours when required
• Proven ability to work safely and be constantly alert & always aware of surroundings at all times: Job sites/roadways/yards continuously have continuously changing conditions and evolving hazards
• Understand the importance of urgency and timeliness
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Familiar with downtown Toronto and GTA
• Ability to use smartphones with various professional applications and follow all company processes

Responsibilities:

• Timely Delivery/Pick-ups of Scaffold equipment, lumber, Materials to & from job multiple job sites & suppliers daily
• Load/offload truck using Hiab Knuckle Boom with wireless remote
• Work with Foremen/Labour Crews and/or Clients or other trades on sites to ensure the vehicle is safely loaded and all cargo is secure before transport.
• Assure proper processes are followed
• Accurate and timely completion of all driver paperwork is required (digitally).
• Perform monthly Preventive maintenance inspections and ensure Truck/Hiab Boom is in good working order at all times
• Perform Daily Circle checks and maintain required paperwork as per the MTO and company requirements
