Full job description

Position Summary

Full time wholesale meat warehouse/delivery driver. warehouse work as well as delivering meats in the Ottawa surrounding area. Company provides refrigerated mini van or small refrigerated cube van. Driver requires G class as well as be able to lift boxes up to 60 lbs. Candidate must speak fluently English, bilingual an asset as they will need to interact with clients.

Location: Ottawa, ON

Shifts : 5 days work week will include Saturdays - Start time 07:00

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse work stocking inventory. helping out assembling orders, keeping warehouse clean.
  • Deliver products to customer locations within delivery window time frames.
  • Operate vehicle and work safely at all times.
  • Balancing the demands for speed, accuracy, safety, as well as great customer service.
  • Must be able to lift heavy boxes 50-60 lbs.
  • Meeting and servicing a broad variety of customer needs, with the daily one-on-one contact
  • Expectation of professionalism and the consistent integration of company Values.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift, load, push, pull and carry items up to 50-60lbs
  • Ability to work independently as well as assist team members when necessary
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
