Are you a Class 3 or Class 1 Driver who enjoys making deliveries and pick ups safely and efficiently? Do you have a passion for driving but want to be home every night? Maybe you like to see all of construction going on in Edmonton; as a Construction Equipment Rental company we are on construction sites all over Edmonton and surrounding areas!

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Driver is responsible for making deliveries and pick ups of Construction Rental Equipment, get our equipment to our client sites as efficiently and safely as possible. This position will be required to participate in on-call rotation for emergency deliveries and pick-ups.

Legacy Equipment Rentals is seeking a motivated and reliable Class 3 or Class 1 Driver for work with a construction equipment rental company in Edmonton, AB.

The successful candidate has a clean driving record, strong safety performance, has a comprehensive understanding of construction equipment and small tools AND does not mind operating a smaller truck, as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering and picking up construction equipment from customer sites
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand, with forklift, or by operating mobile equipment
  • Completing required documentation
  • Assisting yard staff with day to day operations
  • Other manual labour tasks, as required

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 3 or Class 1 license – must provide a current driver abstract
  • Experience operating 5 ton flatdeck with winch and/or tractor trailer unit
  • Willing and able to perform manual labour tasks, when driving is not required
  • Must be available for on call rotation
  • Experience loading/unloading, securing and transporting various types of equipment
  • Able to push, pull, and bend in awkward positions - lift 44 lbs
  • Understand log book recording and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to prepare concise and accurate records and reports
