Sub-Contractor/Delivery Driver - M.P. Group of Companies Inc. (Montreal, QC)

Are you an independent and reliable individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for efficient deliveries? M.P. Group of Companies Inc. is seeking dedicated Sub-Contractor/Delivery Drivers to join our growing team in Montreal, Quebec! This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals looking for a flexible, pay-per-package compensation model.

Get a joining bonus of $500 after completing a month. (For full-time employees only minimum 4-5 days)

Serious and experienced applicants only. Experience in UPS, FedEx, Amazon and Intelcom preferred.

Position Type: Sub-Contractor

Location: Montreal, Quebec

Compensation: Pay per Package ($1.10 per package), 200+ packages per day or bring your own vehicle for a better rate.

PNP and P.R Support is Available.

Shift Time: First Wave: 5am and Second Wave: 7:30am

Responsibilities:

As a Sub-Contractor/Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:

  • Timely and Accurate Deliveries: Picking up packages from designated locations and delivering them to various addresses within the Montreal area, adhering to established timelines and routes.
  • Route Optimization: Planning and executing efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery targets.
  • Package Handling: Safely loading, unloading, and securing packages to prevent damage during transit.
  • Customer Service: Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers during deliveries.
  • Documentation: Accurately completing all necessary delivery documentation, including proof of delivery and any incident reports.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensuring your own vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working order for daily deliveries.
  • Compliance: Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Communication: Maintaining open and clear communication with M.P. Group dispatch and management.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Clean Criminal background and driver abstract. (required before joining)
  • Ability to lift and carry packages of various weights and sizes.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong geographical knowledge of Montreal and surrounding areas.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior delivery experience or at least 5 year driving experience is required .
  • Must be legally authorized to work as an independent contractor in Canada.
