Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a dump truck to transport various materials, including gravel, sand, and asphalt, to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
  • Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members regarding delivery schedules and site conditions.
  • Follow all local traffic laws and regulations while driving.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings.
