Full job description

TUESDAY Part-time Drivers required!

Looking to earn some extra money? Why not join the Part Time driving team at BCause Ventures Ltd. Tuesdays are the busiest days delivering produce, fruit and other food boxes to homes and to the school programs BCause supports.

The ideal candidate(s) would be able to use their own personal vehicle to complete deliveries. Mileage will be reimbursed (see note below) for any use of your personal vehicle. The ideal candidate(s) will have a large, reliable SUV/Van for purposes of deliveries.

Ability to load truck or car, understand routing app, deliver based on routing app, excellent customer service, and complete knowledge and understanding that this is a repetitive lifting job.

Because our routes can be further apart than some delivery models, we pay an hourly rate of:

· $22.00/hour + mileage* + 4% vacation pay.

We also know that you may not want to wait for the typical two-week pay cycles, so BCause pays at the end of every week, getting your earnings in your pocket sooner!

Criteria:

· Clean drivers abstract provided that is no more than 30 days old

· Previous delivery experience an asset

· Positive, out going attitude

· Good team member and problem solver

· Have a reliable, large SUV/Van for conducting deliveries

*Mileage is paid based on the CRA guidelines – currently $0.72/km up to and including the first 5,000 kms and $0.66/km after that
