    • Return any undelivered items to the warehouse and document reasons for non-delivery.

The salary for the position is $45,000 - $50,000/year + Profit Sharing.

The DZ Driver will be responsible for daily delivery duties in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. In addition, the position will require occasional warehouse support duties. The ideal candidate will work well independently, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of local driving routes.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver material to customer job sites and shops
  • Responsible for driving safely at all times
  • Responsible for securing vehicle load at all times
  • Responsible for carrying proper documentation in truck at all times, ie license, Insurance, CVOR.
  • Pick up customer returns and Purchase Orders at Vendors
  • Unload truck upon return to the office with any incoming freight
  • Responsible for cleanliness of vehicle
  • Warehouse duties when deliveries are slow, inclusive of order picking, shipping and receiving
  • Operating forklift machinery as required to move product
  • Execute all other duties required by the position and/or asked by the immediate supervisor
Qualifications:
You Must Have:
  • Minimum three (3) years of commercial driving experience, including loading and unloading
  • Valid DZ license with clean driving record/abstract
  • Excellent time-management, and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and relationship building skills
  • Ability to safely lift up to of 50lbs

Nice to Have:
  • Previous experience using Electronic Signature Capture devices
  • Product knowledge, with knowledge of Plumbing and HVAC products
  • Forklift certification
