Full job description

Part-Time

We are seeking a candidate that is outgoing, a fit Individual with excellent customer service skills, who must have the ability to lift and move heavy furniture to join our team.

This is a Part- time job that requires a Class 5 Driver's License, and experience driving a 5 ton truck.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a team to load and unload trucks
  • Occasionally pack or unpack customer items
  • Ensure relevant paperwork is completed before and after every job
  • Provide excellent customer care
  • Tracking hours/supplies
  • Providing high quality and efficient service
  • Completing moves based on company procedures
  • Protecting customers houses and items from damage during their move
  • Reporting damages/repairs and customer feedback
  • Maintaining excellent customer care
  • Other related tasks

Qualifications / Experience :

  • Have a clean drivers abstract and valid drivers license
  • Have experience driving a 5 ton truck
  • Be willing to work weekends and overtime as required
  • Have a flexible schedule
  • Be Friendly, professional, and have a positive attitude
  • Have the ability to lift at least 60 lbs +
  • Be honest and reliable
  • Be willing to occasionally work out of town
  • Have excellent customer services skills
  • Be able to work alone and as part of a team
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Be able to follow directions and learn new procedures
  • Moving experience is consider an asset but is not required, we are willing to train the right individuals for the job
  • Experience in a previous leadership role is considered an asset
  • Must read, write and speak fluent English
