BMW Grand River, located in Kitchener, is looking for a customer oriented, self-motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Sales Consultant.

Job Description

Sales Consultants guide customers through the vehicle purchasing process, acting as a product expert to match client needs with suitable new or used vehicles. Key responsibilities include building rapport, demonstrating vehicle features, conducting test drives, negotiating, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

  • Customer Engagement: Greet customers, build rapport, and identify vehicle needs through active listening.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of vehicle features, options, and financing options.
  • Sales Process Management: Demonstrate vehicles, conduct test drives, negotiate terms, and finalize sales or lease agreements.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Follow up with prospective and existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly quotas for unit sales.
  • Inventory & Follow-up: Utilize CRM software to manage leads and customer follow-up.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Prior sales or customer service experience, automotive preferred.
  • Licensing: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with comfort working with technology.
  • Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
  • OMVIC license
