As a trusted representative of the La-Z-Boy brand, you’ll create a positive, professional, and memorable final impression through safe, timely, and courteous furniture delivery and setup. Known for quality craftsmanship and outstanding service, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in hands-on work, teamwork, and providing an excellent customer experience.

As a Furniture Mover & Delivery Driver, you will safely load, transport, and deliver furniture to customer locations, ensuring each item is handled with care and set up according to company standards. You’ll work closely with the delivery team and store operations to follow delivery routes, confirm orders, and maintain accurate documentation.

In this role, you will confidently interact with customers in their homes, addressing questions or concerns with professionalism, respect, and a solutions-focused mindset. Your ability to work efficiently under time constraints, communicate clearly with teammates and customers, and problem-solve on the spot will help ensure smooth deliveries, high customer satisfaction, and uphold La-Z-Boy’s reputation for exceptional service.

What You’ll Do

  • Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture to customer homes following scheduled routes
  • Handle all furniture with care to prevent damage during loading, unloading, and setup
  • Assemble, place, and position furniture according to customer requests and company standards
  • Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner, creating a positive delivery experience
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery timelines, setup, and basic product questions
  • Address delivery-related concerns or challenges calmly, using problem-solving skills and professionalism
  • Complete delivery documentation (electronic or paperwork), signatures, and condition reports
  • Work collaboratively with delivery partners, warehouse staff, and store teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Perform pre and post delivery vehicle inspections, daily
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
  • Maintain a clean, organized delivery truck, warehouse space, and work environment

  • A customer-first mindset with a strong commitment to professional, respectful in-home service
  • Experience interacting directly with customers and resolving delivery-related questions or concerns
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with delivery partners and store teams
  • Familiarity with delivery documentation, basic mobile devices, or routing systems an asset
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries, documentation, and order verification
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically active environment while meeting schedules and safety standards
