Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-oriented Driver Helper to assist our delivery drivers with the transportation and delivery of appliances, electronics, and furniture. The successful candidate will accompany drivers to customer homes, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.

This role also involves supporting daily store operations, including cleaning and refurbishing items, organizing stock, merchandising, and general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist drivers with the delivery of appliances, electronics, and furniture to customers' homes.
  • Help load, unload, move, and position items safely during deliveries.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members in English.
  • Assist with cleaning, handling, and refurbishing appliances and other store items.
  • Support stock organization, merchandising, and general store maintenance.
  • Assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing inventory.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, presentable, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Must have CSA-approved safety shoes.
  • Physically capable of performing manual handling, lifting, and moving tasks.
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in delivery, warehouse, moving, or customer service roles is considered an asset.

Work Environment

This is a physically active position involving both delivery assistance and in-store duties. Candidates should be comfortable working in customer homes as well as in a retail and warehouse environment.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week

Work Location: In person
