Job Summary

We are looking to hire Owner-operator drivers with SEDAN, MINIVANS or SUVs! Pay Per Delivered pkg

Work Available: Monday to Sunday. Payout: Bi-weekly Bank Transfer (No Tax Deducted), first pay takes 3-4 weeks; after that, every 2nd Friday.

Permanent/fixed routes are available for those with good performance.

Pickup time: between 6 and 8 am, the route needs to be done the same day.

Pickup: No 6 Road, Richmond, BC.

Delivery Area: VGA, Richmond, Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, North Van, Delta, Coquitlam, Port Moody, Tsawwassen, and West Vancouver. (Downtown Area Pays more than other routes)

Rotational routes!

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or heavy equipment, when necessary
  • Verify delivery orders and ensure accurate documentation of shipments
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
  • Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps to meet delivery schedules
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or issues
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of delivery vehicles
  • Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management when required

Skills

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is a plus
  • Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
  • Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for vehicle troubleshooting and minor repairs
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently when needed
