Zippy and lippy‘s lightning delivery is seeking a reliable and professional 5 ton Courier Driver to join our team. We are located just outside of Guelph in Puslinch and do deliveries all over southern Ontario,. We have a fleet of 8 vehicles ranging from mini van to a 5ton. This role would primarily be driving our 5 ton vehicle. This position involves timely and safe transportation of skids and packages to various destinations, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, 5 ton driving or commercial driving Experience. ONLY A G LICENCE IS REQUIRED.

Duties

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport skids and packages across designated routes
  • Load and unload items
  • Ensure accurate delivery of goods, verifying recipient information and obtaining signatures when required
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch
  • Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices
  • Hours of work are Monday to friday with start time of 7-9 am to 3-5 pm,

Experience

  • Prior experience in 5 ton operation, commercial driving, or logistics preferred
  • Knowledge of moving procedures and forklift operation is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills to handle inquiries or concerns professionally
  • Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with team members and clients
  • Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record required

This position offers an engaging work environment for individuals committed to dependable service delivery. MUST BE COMFORTABLE DRIVING TO GTA.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
