Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently load and unload flooring materials onto delivery trucks.
  • Prepare orders for delivery by accurately picking and packing products.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of products before loading and upon delivery to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Drive delivery vehicles to designated locations while adhering to traffic and safety regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by representing our company in a professional and friendly manner during deliveries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily delivery targets and meet customer expectations.
  • Job duties include of lifting 50LB plus boxes of tiles and hardwood.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record ( drivers abstract ).
  • Criminal records check.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and material handling.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with basic computer operations for order tracking and communication.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Prior experience with flooring materials is a plus.
  • Forklift Operator Certificate would be a bonus.
