WindServer is WSP’s global online data management service supporting meteorological data collected at renewable energy project sites around the world. As a WindServer System Administrator , you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continued evolution of this mission‑critical platform. Your work will directly support analysts, project teams, and the delivery of data that enables smarter, more sustainable energy decisions worldwide.

Your Impact

You will:

  • Provide day‑to‑day technical support to WindServer users and analysts, ensuring a reliable and responsive experience
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application, server, and configuration issues across the WindServer environment
  • Implement code updates and server configuration changes to maintain system performance and stability
  • Support the maintenance and operation of on‑premise server infrastructure
  • Collaborate closely with senior administrators to learn, understand, and enhance WindServer architecture
  • Partner with the WindServer Product Manager to support product growth, improvements, and future enhancements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen system reliability and scalability

The Skills That Set You Apart

You bring:

  • Proficiency in C#, Transact‑SQL, JavaScript, TextScript, jQuery, and Microsoft PowerShell
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2022 environments
  • Experience with firewall administration and computer networking concepts
  • Familiarity with Synology DiskStation Manager and AWS Storage Gateway
  • Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio and version control systems
  • The ability to learn new software tools quickly and adapt to evolving technologies
  • A pragmatic, solutions‑oriented approach with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 – $102,500
MB & ON: $70,600 – $97,200
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $69,900 – $92,900
