Full job description

Automotive Merchandising & Content Coordinator

West End Nissan is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Automotive Merchandising & Content Coordinator to help us create one of the best online vehicle shopping experiences in Alberta.

This is not just a “take pictures of cars” role.

We are looking for someone who genuinely cares about presentation, accuracy, consistency, and keeping our inventory looking better than the competition across Auto Trader, social media, dealership websites, Facebook Marketplace, and other online platforms.

You’ll work closely with the sales and management team to ensure vehicles are properly photographed, merchandised, described, and presented online in a way that maximizes leads and helps sell vehicles faster.

No automotive experience is required. We are happy to train the right person.

What matters most is attention to detail, initiative, organization, creativity, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

  • Photograph dealership inventory using DSLR and/or smartphone
  • Create short vehicle videos and social media content
  • Edit photos and merchandise inventory for online listings
  • Use AI and editing tools to improve inventory presentation
  • Write and update accurate vehicle descriptions and feature lists
  • Ensure used vehicle listings include important options and accessories
  • Monitor online inventory for missing photos, incorrect descriptions, or merchandising issues
  • Maintain high presentation standards across AutoTrader, dealership website, Facebook Marketplace, and other platforms
  • Communicate sold inventory quickly to staff so listings and personal advertising can be updated
  • Coordinate with detailers, lot staff, and sales staff to ensure vehicles are clean and ready for photography
  • Help maintain organization and presentation standards across the lot and inventory process
  • Stay current with online automotive merchandising trends and best practices
  • Work closely with management to continuously improve inventory performance and online engagement

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable learning new software and AI tools
  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Creative mindset with good visual judgment
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Positive attitude and team-first mentality
  • Comfortable delegating and coordinating with other staff when needed
  • Willingness to adapt and improve processes

Experience With The Following Is Considered An Asset:

  • Canva
  • Photoshop
  • ChatGPT or AI tools
  • Social media platforms
  • Photography or videography
  • AutoTrader or online marketplace experience
  • Basic video editing

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Occasional weekend work may be required
  • Primarily on-site position with some flexibility for work-from-home or flex scheduling when appropriate

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Full-time salary position
  • Competitive compensation based on experience ( $3000-$3500 per month )
  • Full benefits package
  • Training and development provided
  • Opportunity to grow within a fast-moving dealership environment

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in presentation, notices small details others miss, and wants to be part of building a modern dealership brand that stands out online.

If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

Pay: $3,000.00-$3,500.00 per month

Benefits:

  • Company events
  • Employee assistance program
  • Flexible schedule
  • On-site parking
  • Paid time off
  • Profit sharing
  • RRSP match
