Florists Choice is a specialized floral business management and AI-powered SaaS platform developed from real-world experience operating a successful floral business. It has been built as well as been in use over the last 8 years.

The platform was originally built and tested within Flower Chix, a Calgary-based florist that grew from a small acquisition into a business generating over $2 million in annual revenue. After years of refining workflows, recipes, costing, quoting, purchasing, and inventory management, we are now rebuilding and commercializing the platform for florists across Canada and the United States.

Florists Choice aims to become the leading operating system for independent florists by combining industry-specific workflows with AI-driven automation.

Required Qualifications / Technical Skills

• Strong PHP development experience
• Laravel framework expertise
• SQL database experience

Compensation

We are open to various structures, including:

Option 1: Contract + Equity

Competitive contract compensation plus ownership participation.

Option 2: Sweat Equity

Ownership earned through agreed development milestones.

Option 3: Investment + Equity

Direct financial investment combined with an active development role.

Option 4: Technical Co-Founder

Meaningful equity position and long-term leadership opportunity.

Compensation and ownership structure will be based on experience, technical capabilities, and level of commitment.

Location: Mostly remote with weekly face to face meetings (Calgary preferred, open to exceptional candidates elsewhere)
