About the Future in Progress: Graduates program

Our 24-month cross-functional program is structured around three 8-month rotations. From day one, you’ll work on real projects, gain hands-on experience, and build skills across a variety of teams. You’ll also join a supportive graduate community, benefit from a premium learning curriculum—including workshops, training sessions and digital tools,— high challenge, high support from mentors and senior leaders.


During your rotations, you could work in areas such as:

  • Smoke-Free: Join teams that develop our smoke-free products. Get involved in research and development, analyze markets and customer trends, and help shape product strategy and marketing before products reach our retailers and legal-age customers.
  • Commercial: Build practical experience bringing our products to market. Work in sales and marketing, grow relationships with retailers, learn territory management, and see how your work directly impacts our business results.
  • Corporate Functions: Contribute to strategic support areas such as corporate affairs, finance, marketing, people & culture, and strategy. Build professional confidence as you contribute to projects that drive our transformation.

Who can apply:

We’re looking for innovative, curious, and ambitious graduates who are fast learners, think creatively, take initiative, and thrive in dynamic settings. To be eligible for the Future in Progress Graduate program, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in fields such as business, digital, economics, finance, human resources, legal, marketing, political science, or equivalent experience or qualification.
  • A maximum of 3-years of post-graduation work experience.
  • Proficiency in English and the local language.
  • Legal right to work in the country you’re applying for (without sponsorship).
  • Willingness to relocate in your home market or abroad.
  • Agility and adaptability in a dynamic market.
  • Initiative and courage to experiment.
  • The ability to understand and apply commercial insights.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Business Problem Framing & Analysis: Translate business situations into clear problems, run root cause analysis, and define improvement opportunities.
  • Requirements & Solution Design: Gather and manage requirements, and design data products / analytics solutions that meet business needs.
  • Data‑Driven Modelling & Insight Generation: Build business models and use data analysis to generate insights and support decision-making (ad hoc + structured).
  • Product Delivery & Quality Assurance: Define functional specs, test solutions, and ensure data products work as expected and deliver value.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Value Delivery: Work closely with stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and ensure solutions are adopted and drive business impact."
