Work Model: Hybrid, 2 days per week in office
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Duration: 6 month contract, 40 hours per week

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce focused ETL Developer to design, build, and optimize data migration and integration pipelines between Salesforce and enterprise systems. This role will play a critical part in ensuring accurate, scalable, and high quality data movement across platforms, with a strong emphasis on Salesforce data structures and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes with a strong focus on Salesforce data integration and migration
  • Build and optimize data pipelines between Salesforce and SQL Server environments
  • Analyze Salesforce objects, relationships, and metadata to develop effective migration and integration strategies
  • Develop ETL solutions from scratch or enhance existing integrations involving Salesforce
  • Extract and transform Salesforce data using SOQL and API based integrations
  • Implement scheduling, orchestration, and automation of ETL workflows including Salesforce data loads
  • Translate complex business logic into efficient SQL and ETL processes aligned with Salesforce data models
  • Design, code, and debug ETL processes and participate in code reviews
  • Perform unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure data accuracy and consistency across Salesforce and downstream systems
  • Promote ETL solutions across environments using SSIS and deployment best practices
  • Document ETL processes, Salesforce data mappings, and transformation rules
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, DBAs, and business stakeholders to resolve data and integration challenges
  • Provide regular status updates, estimates, and risk identification
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies for Salesforce data integration

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5 to 7 plus years of experience as an ETL Developer in data warehouse environments
  • Strong hands on experience with Salesforce data integration and migration
  • Proficiency in SOQL and Salesforce data structures including standard and custom objects
  • Experience working with Salesforce APIs, data extraction, and bulk data operations
  • Strong expertise in SQL Server, T SQL, and stored procedures
  • Experience with SSIS for ETL development and deployment
  • Solid understanding of data mapping and data transformation concepts
  • Experience optimizing and debugging SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Familiarity with data migration between Salesforce and relational databases
  • Knowledge of PL SQL scripting is an asset
  • Experience working with MS Access and legacy data sources
  • Strong data analysis skills with attention to data quality and integrity

Preferred Skills

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with healthcare or regulated data environments
  • Knowledge of Salesforce data governance, security, and best practices
  • Familiarity with middleware or integration platforms is an asset
  • Ability to convert complex business requirements into scalable ETL processes

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication with technical and non technical stakeholders
