Full job description

Farm Hand (Dairy Farm) – Full Time

Whitemouth , MB

Pay: From $18.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Hand to join our team on a modern dairy farm milking approximately 100 cows using two DeLaval robotic milking systems. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a progressive, technology-driven farm.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with seeding, cultivating, and harvesting crops
  • Operate and maintain farm equipment (tractors, tillers, etc.)
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on machinery
  • Conduct soil preparation and fertilization
  • Assist with livestock care, including feeding and cleaning facilities
  • Help monitor and perform basic maintenance on milking robots
  • Complete general farm duties such as cleaning, organizing, and heavy lifting

Qualifications:

  • Previous farm or machinery experience is an asset (willing to train)
  • Ability to operate or learn farm equipment
  • Physically capable of heavy lifting and working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license is an asset
