Three Dairy Veterinarians

Metzger Veterinary Services (MVS) – Eastern Ontario

Our Eastern Ontario dairy practice is growing rapidly, and we’re looking to add three Dairy Veterinarians to our team.

Metzger Veterinary Services has supported the Canadian livestock industry since 2002. We’re a private, family-owned practice focused on progressive herd health, practical medicine, and long-term client relationships. No corporate playbooks—just good medicine, great clients, and the autonomy to make a real difference.

The Role

  • Herd health and on-farm dairy veterinary care
  • Reproductive ultrasound and fertility management
  • Herd audits and disease investigations
  • Transition cow, calf health, vaccination, udder health, and production consulting
  • Herd performance analysis and producer consulting
  • Shared on-call rotation
  • Veterinary support for local feedlots in conjunction with the rest of the beef veterinary team

Qualifications

  • DVM (or equivalent) eligible for Ontario licensure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Passion for dairy production, teamwork, and building lasting client relationships
