About Us: Elmido Farms & Brightside Poultry are family run Dairy and Poultry Operations. We are committed to fostering a positive work environment where every team member is valued and has the opportunity to grow and develop their skills.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a trainable and dedicated Farm Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about agriculture, willing to learn, and enthusiastic about working with both dairy and poultry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the daily care and management of dairy cows, including feeding calves, milking, and monitoring herd health.
  • Supporting poultry operations, and monitoring the health of chickens.
  • Assisting with the collection and packaging of eggs.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in all areas of the farm.
  • Following safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by farm management.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to learn and be trained in all aspects of dairy and poultry farming.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the welfare of animals.
  • Basic understanding of agricultural practices is preferred but not required.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the farm.
