Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Security and Information Technologist to join our innovative team. This role involves safeguarding our information systems and infrastructure while leveraging advanced quantum engineering techniques to enhance security protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cybersecurity, information technology, and quantum engineering principles, contributing to the development and implementation of cutting-edge security solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of technology, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our critical data and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust security measures across all information systems.
  • Monitor network activity for potential security breaches or vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and update security policies, procedures, and protocols aligned with industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify areas for improvement.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, performing investigations and remediation actions.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, technological advancements, and best practices in cybersecurity and quantum technologies.
  • Assist in training staff on security awareness and best practices for data protection.
  • Observing and reporting activities and incidents
  • Protecting evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies or security investigations
  • Manage the operations and any documentation of activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity or information technology roles.
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex security issues.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to evolving technological landscapes and threat environments. This position is integral to maintaining the security posture of our organization while pushing the boundaries of technological innovation through quantum engineering advancements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
