We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service while facilitating communication between customers and our service department. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes and the ability to effectively upsell services to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Duties

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
  • Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, ensuring customers understand the work being performed on their vehicles.
  • Utilize strong customer service skills to build rapport with clients and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and vehicle history.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed throughout the process.
  • Promote additional services through upselling techniques, enhancing overall customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology to provide informed recommendations to customers.

Experience

  • Previous dealership experience is highly preferred, providing insight into the unique demands of a fast-paced automotive environment.
  • Mechanic experience or strong mechanical knowledge is advantageous for effective communication with technicians and understanding repair processes.
  • Proven customer service experience with a focus on building relationships and resolving issues effectively.
  • Sales experience is beneficial, particularly in upselling automotive services or products.
