Sales Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to support daily retail operations and assist customers with product selection and purchases. The role involves providing customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining store presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with product information and general inquiries.
  • Provide basic product demonstrations and explain product features.
  • Process sales transactions using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Handle payments, including cash, card, and other payment methods.
  • Support customers in selecting suitable products based on their needs.
  • Maintain store displays and ensure products are properly organized.
  • Support inventory tasks, including restocking and organizing merchandise.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in person and by phone in a professional manner.
  • Assist team members in daily store operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized retail environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
