Intermediate or Senior Customer Delivery Manager (Technical)
Lead Success for Clients. Scale Cloud Delivery. Build Trusted Partnerships. Accelerate Innovation.
At AirGate, we believe exceptional customer outcomes come from more than great technology—they come from exceptional delivery, trusted relationships, repeatable execution, and people who take ownership.
We're looking for a Senior or Intermediate Technical Customer Delivery Manager who thrives on delivering repeatable cloud solutions, building long-term customer relationships, and ensuring every customer engagement is executed with excellence.
This role sits at the intersection of technical delivery leadership, customer success, cloud strategy, and trusted advisory. You'll work alongside AirGate's architects, engineers, and leadership team to deliver Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, Data Platform, and AI solutions for customers across healthcare, financial services, government, manufacturing, and commercial industries.
This is not a traditional project management role. We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding cloud technology, solving problems, collaborating with technical teams, and helping customers successfully modernize their environments.
You'll play a key role in scaling AirGate's delivery model, ensuring our repeatable deployment methodologies deliver consistent, exceptional outcomes for every customer.
What You'll Do
As an Intermediate or Senior Technical Customer Delivery Manager, you'll own the customer experience from solution planning through deployment, operational handoff, and long-term customer success. You'll ensure AirGate's repeatable delivery methodologies are followed while helping customers successfully modernize their cloud environments.
You will be responsible for:
- Building trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and becoming a long-term strategic advisor
- Leading multiple customer engagements simultaneously across Azure, Security, Data Platform, and AI solutions
- Coordinating architects, engineers, security specialists, data specialists, and AI teams to ensure successful delivery
- Running project kickoffs, weekly status meetings, internal/collaborative working sessions, executive reviews, and customer workshops
- Developing and maintaining project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, action registers, and executive reporting
- Identifying risks early, removing blockers, and ensuring projects remain on schedule and within scope
- Managing customer expectations through proactive communication and transparency
- Monitoring project scope, timelines, budgets, deliverables, customer satisfaction, and overall engagement health
- Supporting successful transitions into AirGate Managed Services and ongoing customer success
- Identifying opportunities to expand customer value through additional projects, managed services, AI, security, and modernization initiatives
- Championing AirGate's delivery model by ensuring repeatable deployment methodologies, governance standards, documentation, quality assurance, and operational best practices are consistently followed across every customer engagement
- Working closely with the leadership team to continuously improve delivery processes, customer experience, and operational excellence
You will become the central point of coordination between our customers and our technical delivery teams, ensuring every engagement is organized, predictable, and delivered to the highest standard.
Technical Proficiency Matters
This is not a traditional project management position where success is measured by spreadsheets and status reports alone.
Our Technical Customer Delivery Managers are expected to develop a strong understanding of Microsoft cloud technologies and confidently participate in technical discussions with customers, architects, and engineers.
You won't be expected to deploy Azure infrastructure or write Infrastructure-as-Code, but you will be expected to understand how modern cloud solutions fit together, challenge assumptions, ask the right questions, identify technical risks, and help guide successful customer outcomes.
You should be comfortable learning and discussing technologies such as:
- Microsoft Azure
- Azure Landing Zones and Networking
- Microsoft Security Services
- Microsoft 365
- Azure Virtual Desktop
- Microsoft Fabric
- Azure AI
- Microsoft Copilot
- Cloud migration and modernization initiatives
The best Technical Customer Delivery Managers at AirGate don't simply manage project plans—they actively contribute to delivery success.
They understand customer objectives, participate in technical discussions, identify risks early, coordinate the right technical resources, and work alongside architects and engineers to ensure AirGate's repeatable delivery methodologies consistently produce exceptional customer outcomes.
They help drive delivery—not simply coordinate it.
We're looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, learning continuously, solving problems, and helping deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, enjoys helping customers succeed, and has a passion for modern cloud technology.
You should have:
- 4-5+ years of experience in project delivery, customer success, professional services, consulting, or managed services
- Experience leading customer-facing technology or cloud transformation projects
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, planning, and project management skills
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams
- The ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills
- Technical curiosity and a desire to continuously learn Microsoft cloud technologies
- A customer-first mindset with exceptional follow-through
- Experience working within Microsoft cloud technologies is considered a significant asset
- PMP, Agile, Scrum, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent experience are considered an asset
What Makes Someone Successful Here
Our best Technical Customer Delivery Managers are:
- Highly organized and proactive, exceptionally detail oriented
- Critical thinkers
- Excellent communicators
- Calm under pressure
- Strong relationship builders
- Technically curious and committed to continuous learning
- Comfortable participating in architecture and technical delivery discussions
- Able to anticipate issues before they become problems
- Willing to roll up their sleeves and help solve challenges
- Focused on customer outcomes rather than simply tracking activities
- Comfortable balancing customer expectations with technical realities
- Think in systems and repeatable processes rather than one-off projects
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve delivery through standardization and automation
- Champion consistency, governance, quality, and operational excellence across every engagementThey don't wait for problems to happen—they identify risks early, remove blockers, keep teams aligned, and ensure projects continue moving forward.
Why AirGate?
At AirGate, you'll work on some of Canada's most exciting Microsoft cloud transformation projects.
You'll gain exposure to:
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Security
- Microsoft Fabric
- Artificial Intelligence and Microsoft Copilot
- Enterprise cloud modernization

You'll work alongside experienced architects, engineers, and consultants who enjoy mentoring, collaborating, and continuously improving how we deliver for our customers.
