Job Type: Full-time, In person
Pay: CA$23.00–CA$29.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience
Locations: Multiple Lower Mainland offices

AMC Insurance Brokers is hiring full-time Insurance Agent to join our growing team across the Lower Mainland. This is a great opportunity for motivated insurance professionals with ICBC Autoplan experience who enjoy helping clients, providing excellent service, and building a long-term career in insurance.

We are currently hiring for the following locations:

  • Surrey Head Office: 120-12888 80 Ave, Surrey, BC V3W 3A8
  • Coquitlam Burquitlam Office: 510 Clarke Rd #102, Coquitlam, BC V3J 0S9
  • Eagle Ridge Office: 1192 Lansdowne Dr Suite 405, Coquitlam, BC V3E 1J7

What You’ll Do

As a Insurance Agent, you will support clients with their auto insurance needs and provide clear, reliable guidance throughout the insurance process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist walk-in and returning clients with ICBC Autoplan transactions
  • Provide accurate quotes and explain coverage options clearly
  • Help clients choose insurance solutions that fit their needs
  • Process renewals, changes, and related auto insurance transactions
  • Use ICBC PolicyCenter and internal systems to complete client requests
  • Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service
  • Build positive client relationships through clear communication and follow-up
  • Work with your team to support smooth daily branch operations
  • Stay informed on ICBC updates, policy changes, and industry practices

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within the insurance industry.

You should have:

  • Level 1 BC General Insurance License required
  • Minimum 6+ months of ICBC Autoplan experience
  • Working knowledge of ICBC PolicyCenter
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to explain insurance options in a clear and helpful way
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work in person at one of our Lower Mainland office locations

Nice to Have - The following are considered assets:

  • Level 2 BC General Insurance License, or willingness to pursue it
  • Experience with ICBC batching
  • Additional insurance sales or client service experience
  • Interest in growing into Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, or a senior advisory role
