Job Overview

Since 1983, a.p.i. Alarm Inc. has been a Canadian leader in security and safety solutions. We operate the largest Canadian privately owned monitoring station in the country providing life safety and property protection needs to our clients. We are looking to grow our Sales team!

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Retention/ Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about sales and possess strong communication skills. The Retention/ Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth, building relationships with clients, and effectively communicating our product offerings to a diverse customer base.

Duties

  • Engage with potential clients through inside sales and telemarketing efforts to promote our products and services.
  • Negotiate terms of sales and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and report on sales activities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to facilitate clear understanding of product features and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies that enhance overall sales performance.
  • Provide technical sales support by answering product-related inquiries and offering solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales, inside sales or telemarketing.
  • Sales experience in alarm security-focused industry is an asset
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals successfully.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
  • A background in business development or technical sales is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

This position is an in-office position, there is no flexibility to work remotely.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
