Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Senior Logistics Coordinator to join our team and drive the seamless movement of truckload shipments, including heavy equipment and oversized freight across North America. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help optimize our logistics processes, enhance efficiency, and support our company's growth objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead complex logistics initiatives in a fast-paced environment while making a tangible impact on our operational success.

Duties

  • Plan and dispatch LTL and FTL loads
  • Maximize trailer utilization
  • Analyze equipment dimensions, weights, and trailer requirements
  • Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to schedule shipments, track deliveries, and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies that improve delivery times, reduce costs, and increase overall efficiency.
  • Prepare detailed reports on shipment status, delivery performance, and logistical costs for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements related to transportation.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for any disruptions or delays in the supply chain, providing swift solutions to minimize impact.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and safety standards is highly desirable.

We are looking for an experiences logistics professional with a strong understanding of equipment transportation and LTL freight with:

  • 5+ years in transportation, dispatch or logistics coordination
  • Strong knowledge of equipment dimensions, weights and axle limits
  • Experience with LTL, heavy haul, and specialized freight
  • Knowledge of trailer types and capacities (step deck, RGN, double drop, flatbed, etc.
  • Understanding of oversize permits, load securement and regulations
  • Proficient with TMS, GPS and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication, organizational and problem solving skills

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
