Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our Montessori School team as a Cook. This role involves preparing and serving nutritious meals to our students (18 MONTHS TO 6 YEARS) in a safe and hygienic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, meal preparation, and food safety, with a passion for supporting children's well-being through healthy eating.

Duties

  • Preparing and serving meals to students according to dietary guidelines and safety standards
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are maintained at all times
  • Follow any dietary restrictions/food allergies as posted and ensuring the safety of children with such requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen
  • Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Support the overall organization of the kitchen, including inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Experience

  • Prior experience in food handling is required, especially within a daycare or school environment

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
