Full job description
We are looking for a diligent and alert Crusher Operator to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the crushing operation from a control tower and ensuring that issues are quickly addressed to prevent further complications.
Additionally, you will assist the foreman with repairs, maintenance, and other activities to keep our facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Monitor crushing operations from the control tower, ensuring efficient and safe production.
Remain alert and quickly respond to any issues that may arise during the crushing process.
Communicate with other team members to address problems and prevent them from escalating.
Assist the foreman with repairs and maintenance tasks on crushers, screens, conveyors, and feeders.
Conduct regular equipment checks and report any issues to the foreman.
Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear while working.
Be a team player and help out with other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Crusher Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused while monitoring the crushing operation.
Good communication skills to effectively relay information to the team.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about equipment repairs and maintenance.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Commitment to following safety procedures and guidelines.
