TOTAL Transportation Solutions has been in business since 1994. We are a specialized transportation company providing scheduled and non-scheduled services within Canada and to/from the USA. We provide our customers with a complete transport and final mile, inside pick-up and delivery service. This includes providing blanket wrap movement on a fleet equipped with power lift-gates and climate control. Market segments we specialize in includes scientific, electronics, fixtures, medical, arts and entertainment.

We are seeking a career oriented Load Planner / Dispatcher to join our existing group. You are a seasoned veteran with a professional attitude and have proven trucking industry experience.

As a key member of our Operations Team, your duties will include:

  • Working with other dispatchers to coordinate shipment movement.
  • Review all bookings and plan each load both outbound and inbound.
  • Establish trips that meet all customer load and delivery requirements.
  • Maximize space use and optimize dates with a focus on profitability.
  • Ensure all trips allow for legal operation and a safety first approach.
  • Work with existing driver resources to ensure legal operation and a safety first approach to every trip.
  • Coordinate additional agent / labour support services as needed.
  • Maintain daily communication with all long distance drivers.
  • Contribute ideas to meet various project roll-out requirements.
