Ready...Set...Cook! Kitchen staff plays a vital role. They are the heart of the café who ensurefood products are being sent to customers in the most careful manner.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Staying updated on current menu changes.

-Responsible for prepping produce, chopping fruits, vegetables, portioning meats, cheese,preparing sauces and ensuring all mixes made and ready to go.

-Ensure that your station is fully equipped stocked and ready to go

.-Responsible to preparing items which are from your station.

-Ensure Customers food is delivered at the right temperature.

-Thoroughly cleaning the kitchen, wiping counters, fridges, waffle irons, crepe grills, under the oven and disposing garbage.

- Unload delivery trucks and store inventory correctly.

-Filling in for absent staff as needed.

-Ensure Uniforms are presentable and clean

-Responsible for dish washing during slow periods.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous experience is an asset

- Food Handlers Certificate is an asset

- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

- Must be a team player

- Positive interpersonal skills

- Must be able to list up to 35 lbs

- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time

- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance is key.

- Must be honest and work with a great deal of integrity

-Must be able to communicate with managers, staff and customers
