The Erectors Hoisting & Rigging Inc. is a leading provider of crane and rigging services throughout Ontario. We are committed to safety, professionalism, and delivering exceptional service on every project. We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our growing team.

Position Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and safety-focused Mobile Crane Operator with a minimum of 300-ton crane operating experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating large mobile cranes on a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Operate mobile cranes with capacities of 300 tons and greater.
  • Perform daily pre-operational inspections and complete required documentation.
  • Read and interpret lift plans, load charts, and site drawings.
  • Conduct safe lifting operations in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Work closely with riggers, signal persons, project managers, and site supervisors.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained in a clean and serviceable condition.
  • Follow all Ministry of Labour, Occupational Health & Safety, and company safety requirements.
  • Represent the company professionally on customer job sites.

Qualifications

  • Valid Ontario Mobile Crane Operator certification (339A or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating 300-ton mobile cranes or larger.
  • Valid AZ or DZ driver’s licence preferred.
  • Strong understanding of crane load charts and lift planning.
  • Experience with hydraulic all-terrain and truck-mounted cranes is an asset.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel to various job sites as required.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety.
