Are you a skilled Mechanic looking for a place where your experience is valued and your work actually matters?
The Gear Centre Group of Companies is looking for a strong Journeyman or Apprentice Mechanic to join our Off Highway Division in Edmonton.
This is a great opportunity for a technician who takes pride in quality work, enjoys solving mechanical problems, and wants to build a long-term career in a specialized trade environment. Our Off Highway team works with heavy-duty powertrain components used in the off highway, heavy truck, and automotive industries.
We are interested in speaking with Journeyman and Apprentice Mechanics from the following trades:

  • Transmission Technician / Rebuilder
  • Heavy Equipment Technician (HET)
  • Automotive Service Technician

What You Will Bring

  • Previous experience with powershift, automatic and/or manual transmissions, differentials, and planetary axles
  • Experience or knowledge of ZF, Dana Clark, Funk, AxleTech Rockwell, and/or Allison powertrain components would be an asset
  • Valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driver’s abstract
  • Own tools
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and interest in building a long-term career
