Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on various types of machinery and equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing a wide range of mechanical skills and tools to ensure vehicles and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Candidates with dealership experience and familiarity with heavy machinery are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including cars, trucks, and industrial machinery
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately
  • Conduct repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
  • Work with schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
  • Operate heavy equipment safely when required for maintenance or repair tasks
  • Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and testing of mechanical components as needed
  • Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems

Qualifications

  • Proven mechanic experience with automotive repair or industrial equipment maintenance
  • Dealership experience is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, welding, and heavy equipment operation is a plus
  • Ability to operate excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery safely
  • Familiarity with farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, and maintenance procedures
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement
  • Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs
