Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Technician to join our technology support team. In this role, you will be the frontline hero for maintaining and troubleshooting our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across various platforms. Duties
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, operating systems, and network issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Maintain and configure computer hardware components including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripheral devices to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage computer networking tasks such as LAN setup, firewall configuration, VPN access, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Collaborate with team members to perform routine maintenance, software updates, and hardware upgrades to minimize downtime.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Experience with computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN architecture, VPNs, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills for providing clear technical support and customer service to users at all levels.
- Ability to troubleshoot software issues related to Microsoft Office suite and other common enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with help desk procedures and desktop support best practices.
- Knowledge of security protocols including firewall management and VPN configuration for secure remote access.
