Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated ***CLASS ONE **Intermodal Chassis Driver to join our team in Canada. Based in Edmonton, you will transport 20 foot c cans via intermodal to CP and CN rail yards. MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE. Full time year round position, group benefits, weekends off.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate intermodal chassis trucks to transport equipment across various locations.
  • Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups.
  • Comply with all transportation laws and company policies.
  • Assist with loading and unloading freight when necessary.
  • Support the team in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Qualifications
  • Valid CLASS ONE LISCENCE
  • Proven experience in freight transportation and heavy equipment operation.
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Basic automotive repair knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills.
