Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or RP (Qualifying) that specializes in working with children and teens to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children, and teens with education from the Canadian Association for Play Therapy or another verified source. This role involves providing counselling support to clients and their families, ensuring they receive the necessary care and assistance throughout their therapeutic journey.

Duties
- Conduct intake and assessments to determine the needs of children and families.

- Provide counselling and support to clients using play and art materials.

-Keep progress notes up to date for case conceptualizaton.

-Registered Psychotherapist with CRPO in good standing.

Skills
- Experience working with children and teens is a must.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

-Experience using play materials and art activities to conduct therapy.
- Empathy and active listening skills to provide emotional support to clients and their families.
- Knowledge of community resources available for client support.
